POLLING ORGANISATION Irving Saulwick and Associates SURVEY METHOD The sampled population consists of men and women aged 18 years and older from 50 electorates in Melbourne and Sydney. Starting points in each electorate are proportionately allocated on the basis of 1971 electoral enrolments, and 2 interviews per starting point are obtained with only one per dwelling. The interview is conducted with the youngest adult over the age of 18 available subject to a sex quota of one male:one female at each starting point. This poll is based on 1001 interviews conducted in June 1972.
